House in El Candado, Malaga

House completed in 2008, on land with a steep slope facing north, the house tries to turn this situation around, excavating the mountain, generating its own nature. Inside, a large double-height living room is the piece that articulates the life of the house, a large lung to which the kitchen, bedrooms, etc. open. The gaps underline the drama of the intense Mediterranean light.
